Village of Venedocia Council Minutes

Venedocia Lions Club January 3, 2005

Meeting was called to order by Robert Louth with council members Lee Lare, Gloria Leiter, Paul Price and Charlie Good present.

The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

The bills were presented as follows:

Doug Ruen (reimburse) $11.45 (#3854)

AEP-town storage building $13.17 (#3855)

Reliable Plumbing & Heating $145.47 (#3856)

Jenny Pugh (salary) $223.05 (#3857)

Mill Pond Farms, Inc. $315.00 (#3858)

PERS $55.13 (#3859)

Treasurer State of Ohio (UAN) $117.00 (#3860)

Lee Lare moved to pay all bills. Gloria Leiter seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Old Business

Jenny Pugh reported that village solicitor Bob Young told her to continue doing the clerk/treasurer job while he looks into it further.

New Business

Paul Price moved to assign each council member the same job as in 2004. Charlie Good seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Jobs were assigned as follows:

President of Council- Robert Louth

Voucher signers: Charlie Good, Lee Lare, and Gloria Leiter

Street Department-Paul Price and Jeff Davis

Park Department- Charlie Good and Robert Louth

Police- Lee Lare and Gloria Leiter

Custodian- Kim Coil

Village Solicitor- Bob Young

Mower- Rod Eutlser

Tom Evans- snow removal

Paul Price moved to open a blanket purchase order for AEP in order to pay all electric bills as they come in. Gloria Leiter seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Gloria Leiter and Lee Lare will report all junk vehicle violations in the village at the February meeting. Registered letters will be sent at that time.

Jenny Pugh read the 2005 Annual Appropriation Ordinance for the village. A roll call vote was taken. Robert Louth-yes, Paul Price-yes, Lee Lare- yes, Gloria Leiter-yes, Charlie Good-yes. Motion carried.

Gloria Leiter moved to adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned.

Next meeting will be February 7, 2005.
