Old Business
Mr. and Mrs. Baker attended
the meeting to express their frustration with the trash and car buildup
occurring at the Tim Burnett residence.
The Bakers’ property is adjacent to the Burnett residence and they feel
that the numerous junk cars and trash piled up on the Burnett residence will
affect the likelihood of selling their property. Mr. and Mrs. Baker also stated that while the Burnettes burn
trash, it blows onto their property. In
addition, often times there are too many cars parked at the Burnett residence
and therefore the Bakers’ driveway is blocked.
The council stated that a junk violation letter had been sent two month
prior. The Bakers were encouraged to
document all violations.
An additional junk violation
letter will be sent to the owner of the house, Linda Davis.
Council member Gloria Leiter
reported that Linda Collins has plans to move the motor home and junk vehicles
from her property once the ground has dried out.
New Business
Councilman Good reported
that the new web site (www.venedocia.org)
officially began service on March 8, 2005.
He added that during that month, there was an average of 26 site visits.
Mayor Ruen has received some
complaints of potholes in the village streets.
Charlie Good made a motion for the mayor to check into fixing the
potholes. Gloria Leiter seconded the
motion. Motion carried.
Gloria Leiter moved to
adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned.
Next meeting will be May 2,
2005.
