Venedocia Lions Club November
6, 2006
Meeting was called to order
by Mayor Doug Ruen with council members Lee Lare, Jeff Coil, Gloria Leiter,
Paul Price, Charlie Good, and Robert Louth present.
Minutes of the previous
meeting were read and approved.
The bills were presented as

Charlie Good moved to pay
all bills. Gloria Leiter seconded the
motion. Motion carried.
Old Business
Mayor Ruen stated that he
would call Kyle Wendell with Van Wert County to get embankment work done on
State Route 116.
After some discussion, it
was decided to consider shortening trick-or-treat by one-half hour next
Halloween.
Council members noted that
the youth from Kingsley Church had done a nice job of community service in the
village.
Mayor Ruen relayed that he
is still working on compiling a list of those certified to use the village AED,
as well as a letter stating burning laws for village residents.
New Business
Lee Lare moved to pass
Resolution 06-01, the Van Wert Countywide All Natural Hazards Mitigation
Plan. Gloria Leiter seconded the
motion. Motion carried.
Mayor Ruen quoted some
figures from Nat’l Serv-All regarding a possible clean-up day next spring.
Lee Lare volunteered to call
Bruns to clean the village air wells and to ask Rod Eutsler to clean up and
haul leaves that are along the curbs.
Jeff Coil moved to adjourn
the meeting. Meeting adjourned.
