Old Business
Councilman Good reported that a locksmith successfully unlocked the filing cabinet, but found nothing inside. No village council records have been found prior to 1922 for the Village.
Gloria Leiter shared information regarding the purchase of a new radio. She had two estimates, one for $290 and another for $415. Mayor Eutsler noted that it was a possibility that the Van Wert County EMA will be purchasing radios for the county. It was decided to wait to see if this happens before purchasing a new radio.
Jenny Pugh stated that the church trustees agreed to move the AED down to the basement area. Mounting brackets are needed to mount the AED on the wall. Rick McCoy will be contacted for information about brackets.
New Business
Mayor Eutsler shared a letter from John Lloyd that stated that as the light poles in town are being replaced, brackets and photo eyes are not. Mayor Eutsler will call AEP to report this problem.
Charlie Good offered a copy of the official village website on CD to any interested council member.
A discussion was held about where to get stone and sand now that Suever’s Stone Quarry is closed. The possibility of attaining the county to do the work while paying for the materials was discussed.
Gloria Leiter brought up the problem of stray cats in town.
Robert Louth moved to adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned.
The next meeting will be March 3rd.
