Village of Venedocia

Venedocia Lions Club October 6, 2008

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Larry Eutsler with the following council members present: Charlie Good, Lee Lare, Gloria Leiter, Robert Louth, and Jeff Coil.

The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

The bills were presented as follows:

Tim Young $50.00 (#4421)

Postmaster $38.00 (#4422)

Ray Young $32.00 (#4423)

Young, Taylor, & Yarger $100.00 (#4424)

Jenny Pugh $285.60 (#4425)

Mary Taylor, CPA $240.00 (#4428)

AEP-town storage 13.32 (charge #23-2008)

OPERS $78.00 (Voucher)

Also included in the bills to pay was a $240.00 UAN bill to the Mary Taylor,CPA.

Lee Lare moved to pay all bills. Gloria Leiter seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Old Business

Gloria Leiter reported that the Van Wert County Engineer’s office stated that delivery from any company should not be hindered for those at the Jay Young residence since the post office, 9-1-1, and the County Engineer’s office all regard this as a viable address. The Engineer’s office recommended that problems with delivery should be directed to them and they would send the appropriate information to the company to fix the problem.

Jeff Coil reported that the village is still seeking bids on the asphalt work needed around the village.

New Business

Jenny Pugh stated that a new village computer has been installed. The appropriate Ohio Revised Code will be studied to aid in the sale of the old computer.

Mayor Eutsler stated that there are still residences that need cleaned up. He will work on compiling a list.

The annual Halloween Trick-or-Treat night will by Saturday, October 25^th from 6:00-7:30 p.m. A costume judging at the Lions Club will by held at 8:00 p.m. that night.

Robert Louth moved for adjournment.
