Village of Venedocia

Venedocia Lions Club March 2, 2009

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Larry Eutsler. The following council members were present: Lee Lare, Gloria Leiter, Robert Louth, Charles Good, Jeff Coil, and Paul Price. Also attending the meeting was Scott R. Gordon, village solicitor.

The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

The bills were presented as follows:

Beverly Fuerst, Co. Treas. $8.76 (#4461)

Brown Publishing $18.00 (#4463)

AEP-Christmas lights $422.13 (#4464)

Jenny Pugh $285.71 (#4465)

OPERS $78.00 (withholding voucher)

AEP-town storage building $13.14 (charge)

AEP-street lights $209.05 (charge)

Paul Price moved to pay all bills. Jeff Coil seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Old Business

Village solicitor, Scott Gordon, was on hand to discuss the missing deed to the ball diamond. He will look into locating said deed.

Councilman Louth reported that he had new flags for the village, but will wait until the weather turns nice to put them up.

New Business

It was decided to hire a new lawn person at the April meeting. On the same topic, Jeff Coil will take charge of getting the tractor tuned up for the up-coming season.

It was stated that two new Lions Club signs are forthcoming.

It was noted that the street light in front of the Sarah Kimmett residence is out.

Robert Louth moved for adjournment. Meeting adjourned.
