Village of Venedocia

Venedocia Lions Club June 1, 2009

Meeting was called to order by President of Council, Robert Louth. The following council members were present: Gloria Leiter, Jeff Coil, Lee Lare, Paul Price, and Charlie Good.

The minutes of the previous meeting were read, corrected, and approved.

The bills were presented as follows:

Memorial Park Fund $100.00 (#4486)

Salem Presbyterian Church $400.00 (#4487)

Lee Lare $274.32 (#4488)

Flat Lands Supply $238.02 (#4489)

Van Wert County Engineer $60.00 (#4490)

ODJFS $4.81 (#4491)

Jenny Pugh $285.71 (#4492)

2^nd Quarter State Taxes $6.21 (#4493)

AEP-street lights $223.14 (charge)

AEP-town storage building $14.24 (charge)

OPERS $78.00 (voucher)

Lee Lare moved to pay all bills. Gloria Leiter seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Mayor Eutsler entered the meeting at this time.

Old Business

Councilman Coil reported that the County will put up the village stop signs on weekends for a cost of $15 per hour. The job should take less than a total of 5 hours. Charlie Good moved to hire the County to do this. Lee Lare seconded the motion. Motion carried.

New Business

Paul Price moved to deny a formal hearing to consider the tax budget. Gloria Leiter seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Jeff Coil moved for adjournment. Meeting adjourned.

The next meeting will be July 6, 2009.
