Village of Venedocia
Venedocia Lions Club November 5, 2009
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Larry Eutsler. The following council members were present: Robert Louth, Lee Lare, Gloria Leiter, Paul Price, Jeff Coil, and Charlie Good. Also present were representatives from the U.S.P.S., Pat Suever and Bob Hammonds.
The minutes from the previous meeting were read and approved.
The bills were presented as follows:

Robert Louth moved to pay all bills. Paul Price seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Old Business
Mayor Eutsler reported that there had been five people that have expressed interest in the vacant council positions. Those wishing to apply for this position should contact Mayor Eutsler by December 15, 2009.
New Business
Representatives from the United States Postal Service discussed plans that were being considered to restructure the delivery system in this and surrounding areas. Resolution number 01-2009 was passed requesting the U.S. Congress to delay the United States Postal Service from moving its facility for processing and distribution in the 458 zip code from the Lima processing and distribution center to the Toledo facility until the effect of such proposal on costs and delivery standards is fully investigated. Robert Louth moved to adopt this resolution. Gloria Leiter seconded the motion. The roll-call vote yielded a unanimous “yes”. Motion carried.
Robert Louth moved for adjournment.
