Village of Venedocia

Venedocia Lions Club February 4, 2010

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Eutsler with the following council members present: Robert Louth, Paul Price, Gloria Leiter, Christina Young, Charlie Good and Lee Lare.

The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

The bills were presented as follows:

OPERS $58.49 (voucher)

BWC $4.81 (#4539)

Jenny Pugh $214.29 (#4540)

Mill Pond Farms $133.37 (#4541)

OPERS $58.49 (voucher)

AEP $15.08 (charge)

Paul Price moved to pay all bills. Gloria Leiter seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Old Business

Councilman Leiter indicated that Scott Gordon has agreed to represent the village as Village Solicitor.

Mayor Eutsler noted that he and President of Council will survey the village to compile a list of those residents that are violating village ordinances, specifically the junk ordinance.

After contacting Jason Lloyd, it was decided to give out Jason’s name and phone number to those individuals that have junk that needs hauled away from their residence. This is a free service, but some items will not be picked up by Lloyd. These items include: computers, wood products of any kind, and televisions. The fiscal officer read the 2010 Appropriation Ordinance. Charlie Good moved to accept the ordinance as prepared. Lee Lare seconded the motion. Motion carried.

New Business

Mayor Eutsler was contacted by the County Health Department about doing an H1N1 Vaccination Clinic at the Lions Club free of cost. The council agreed that this would be a good idea. The time and date will need to be cleared through the Lions Club.

Gloria Leiter moved for adjournment. Meeting adjourned.

Next meeting will be on March 4, 2010.
