Village of Venedocia

Venedocia Lions Club September 13, 2010

The meeting was called to order by President of Council, Robert Louth. Council members Paul Price, Charlie Good, Christina Young, and Gloria Leiter were also present.

The minutes of the previous meeting were, read, corrected, and approved.

The bills were presented as follows:

Gloria Leiter moved to pay all bills. Christina Young seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Old Business

The fiscal officer read the resolution accepting the amounts and rates as determined by the budget commission and authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying them to the county auditor. Paul Price moved to accept this resolution. Gloria Leiter seconded the motion. A roll-call vote was taken with a unanimous ‘yes’ vote given.

The necessary paperwork has been received by the village concerning the land purchase by Jason and Sarah Kimmet. Upon receipt of payment by the Kimmets the deed will be sent to them.

New Business

Paul Price moved to give Mayor Eutsler the authority to have any cracked approaches in town sealed. Christina Young seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Paul Price stated that the basketball rim at the park needs replaced.

Christina Young moved to adjourn.
