Village of Venedocia

Venedocia Lions Club May 2, 2011

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Larry Eutsler with the following council members present: Charlie Good, Gloria Leiter, Robert Louth, Paul Price, and Christina Young.

The minutes from the previous meeting were read and approved.

The bills were presented as follows:

ODJFS $18.32 (#4631)

Auto-Owners Ins. $858.00 (#4632)

Jenny Pugh $285.71 (#4633)

US Bank $25.00 (#4634)

OPERS $78.02 (voucher)

Robert Louth moved to pay all bills. Gloria Leiter seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Old Business

The mayor reported that he was still looking for someone interested in fixing some sidewalks in town. He also stated that the Jefferson Street sign is to be fixed by the county.

The fiscal officer reported that the information for the 2009-2010 audit has been delivered to the auditors’ office.

New Business

Gloria Leiter moved to pay the Salem Presbyterian Youth Group $300 for cleaning the streets. Charlie Good seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Paul Price moved to donate $100 to the Memorial Park fund. Gloria Leiter seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Gloria Leiter moved to decline a formal budget hearing by the county budget committee. Charlie Good seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Robert Louth moved to pay Tim Price for mowing 10 hours during the month of April. Christina Young seconded the motion. Motion carried. Check number 4635 in the amount of $74.97 will be sent.

Paul Price moved for adjournment. Robert Louth seconded. Meeting adjourned.

The next meeting will be June 6^th.
