Village of Venedocia

Venedocia Lions Club August 1, 2011

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Larry Eutsler with the following council members present: Robert Louth, Paul Price, Charlie Good, Gloria Leiter, Lee Lare, and Christina Young.

The minutes of the previous July meetings were read and approved.

The bills were presented as follows:

Timothy Price $119.96 (#4652)

Jennifer Pugh $285.71 (#4653)

Van Wert Co. Emergency $75.00 (#4654)

IRS $79.85 (#4655)

AEP $15.05 (charge)

OPERS $78.02 (voucher)

Paul Price moved to pay all bills. Lee Lare seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Old Business

A second reading of the Resolution Declaring it Necessary to Levy a Tax In Excess of the Ten Mill Limitation was read. Lee Lare moved to accept this resolution. Christina Young seconded the motion. A roll-call vote was taken with a unanimous “yes” vote. Motion passed.

Councilmen Good and Leiter agreed with Louth’s assessment of the overgrown bush on State Route 116. It does block visibility and needs to be trimmed back.

New Business

There was no new business to report at this time.

Due to the Labor Day Holiday, the next meeting will be held on September 12^th.

Paul Priced moved for adjournment.
