Venedocia Lions Club September 8, 2011

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Larry Eutsler with the following council members present: Robert Louth, Paul Price, Charlie Good, Gloria Leiter, Christina Young, and Lee Lare.

The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

The bills were presented as follows:

Gloria Leiter moved to pay all bills. Christina Young seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Old Business

Mayor Eutsler noted that the previously mentioned sidewalk had been replaced and the overgrown bush had been trimmed.

New Business

Councilman Good requested that the October, November, and December meeting dates be moved to the first Thursday of those months. Therefore, the new meeting dates will be October 6^th, November 3^rd, and December 1^st. All meetings will begin at 6:00 p.m.

Pugh read the Resolution Accepting the Amounts and Rates as Determined by the Budget Commission and Authorizing the Necessary Tax Levies and Certifying them to the County Auditor. Charlie Good moved to accept said resolution. Lee Lare seconded the motion. A roll-call vote was taken with a unanimous ‘yes’ vote. Motion passed.

Christina Young stated that she had been approached about her position on council. She was told that there was no record of her being on council. Mayor Eutsler will investigate this matter and provide evidence in the form of the oath of office and/or council minutes proving that Mrs. Young is a member of council.

Robert Louth moved for adjournment.
