Village of Venedocia
Venedocia Lions Club October 6, 2014
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Larry Eutsler. The following council members were present: Robert Louth, Lee Lare, Tom Emery, Paul Price, and Gloria Leiter, and Christina Young. James Grant was also in attendance.
The minutes of the July meeting were read and approved.
The bills were presented as follows:

Lee Lare moved to pay all bills. Christina Young seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Old Business
The Mayor reported the following happenings in the village: a few street lights have been repaired, the streets have been resurfaced and look nice, and attempts have been made to help the individual living in the Delbert Martin residence.
New Business
The council set October 25, 2014 as the night for trick-or-treating in the village. This event will be held from 6:00-7:30 p.m. with a costume judging at the Lions Club to follow at 8:00 p.m.
The mayor shared bids on mowers from Violet Implement. The following information was presented:
Woods 54” $9295.00
Grasshopper 52” $9995.00
Both would be interest free. A discussion was held about the village selling the current mower rather than trading it in. The discussion was tabled.
Mayor Eutsler will call Brandon Suever about his interest in plowing snow for the up-coming winter season.
