Regular Council Meeting
July 6, 2015 6:00 p.m.
The July council meeting was called to order by Mayor Larry Eutsler. The following council members were present: Gloria Leiter, Paul Price, Christina Young, and Robert Louth. Village residents, Josh Lyle, Jim Grant, Megan Jones, Chris Landwhere, and Sarah Kimmet, were also in attendance, as well as Craig Knapke, representative from Access Engineering.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

Christina Young moved to pay all bills except Hoffman Plumbing and Heating, Ltd. A discussion was held concerning the payment of this bill. Due to the lack of a second to Young’s motion, the motion died. Robert Louth moved to pay all bills. Paul Price seconded the motion. Leiter voted to pay all bills, while Young opposed the payment to Hoffman Plumbing and Heating. Motion carried.
Old Business
Mayor Eutsler stated that although the Hoffman bill was paid, the village will continue to look into being compensated for some, or all, of this project.
Pugh briefly shared the results of the 2013-2014 audit. One item mentioned in the audit dealt with the purchase of gasoline for the village mower. Gloria Leiter moved to obtain a Speedway gas card for the purpose of purchasing gasoline for the village mower. Paul Price seconded the motion. Motion carried.
New Business
Craig Knapke from Access Engineering Solutions shared potential funding opportunities for the village. He is requesting a list of needs from the village council.
Young inquired about using those charged with narcotics related offenses in the village to serve a portion of their community service within the village.
Village resident Sara Kimmet stated that there are individuals in the village that are destroying equipment at the village park. It was also noted that someone is driving a 4-wheeler through town at excessive speeds. The sheriff’s office has been called.
The fiscal officer handed out copies of the 2016 budget. After a brief explanation and discussion a roll-call vote was taken to accept the budget as prepared. The following votes were given:

At 7:09 p.m. Price moved for adjournment. The next meeting will be August 3, 2015 at 6:00 p.m.
