Village of Venedocia
Regular Council Meeting
February 1, 2016 6:00 p.m.
The February council meeting was called to order by Mayor Sarah Kimmet with the following council members present: Marjorie Clement, Christina Young, Paul Price, Gloria Leiter, Tom Emery, and Doug Price. Also in attendance were village residents Jerry Foust and Jason Kimmet, as well as, Craig Knapke from Access Engineering Solutions.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

Margie Clement moved to pay all bills. Christina Young seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Old Business
Craig Knapke spoke to the council about potential funding opportunities to improve streets, drive aprons, catch basin infrastructure, and some sidewalks. The gathering of data would begin during the second half of 2016, with the project to begin in 2018 and end in 2019. The council tabled a decision on whether to proceed until the next meeting.
Young reported that there are not any Sunshine Law classes nearby at this point. She will continue to keep the council posted.
According to Pugh, Rick McCoy will get back with the village to schedule a date for AED re/certification.
New Business
The mayor and council person Leiter both told council that their village radios do not work. Leiter will call Rick McCoy about this problem as well as McAfees to get information and estimates.
Leiter will also request information from the county about purchasing stop signs, speed limit signs, and no jake braking signs for the village.
The mayor communicated that she will be attending the Van Wert County General Health District meeting on March 8, 2016.
At 7:12 p.m. Young moved for adjournment. The next meeting will March 7, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. Meeting adjourned.
