Special Council Meeting

May 4, 2016 6:00 p.m.

The special May council meeting was called to order by Mayor Sarah Kimmet with the following council members present: Marjorie Clement, Christina Young, Gloria Leiter, Paul Price, and Doug Price. Also in attendance was village resident Pat Jutte.

The minutes of the previous meeting were read, corrected, and approved.

The bills were presented as follows:

Gloria Leiter moved to pay all bills. Margie Clement seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Old Business

Mayor Kimmet reported that there are oil problems with the town mower. Bolts and filters have been checked. The mayor called John Deere to inquire about a possible warranty. The 2004 mower has no warranty left. John Deere charges $30 for simply exploring the problem.

Council person Clement directed attention to Mr. Jutte who stated that he would assess the mower for free. Paul Price moved to secure no more than $500 for the purpose of fixing the mower. Gloria Leiter seconded the motion. Motion carried.

The street signs will be put up by Jason Kimmet at a cost of $5 per hour.

New Business

There was no new business to discuss at this time.

At 6:45 p.m. Young moved for adjournment. The next meeting will June 6, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. Meeting adjourned.
