Regular Council Meeting

November 4, 2019

The November council meeting was called to order by President of Council, Paul Price, with the following council members present: Margie Clement, Gloria Leiter, Tom Emery, and Doug Price.

The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

The bills were presented as follows:

Margie Clement moved to pay all bills. Gloria Leiter seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Old Business

Pugh read the ordinances necessary to move forward with the process of renewing both fire levies in March of 2020. Doug Price moved to accept both resolutions. Tom Emery seconded the motion. A roll-call vote was taken with a unanimous ‘yes’ vote indicated. Motion passed.

Next, Pugh read the resolution accepting the tax rates set by the county auditor’s office. Gloria Leiter moved to accept the resolution. Margie Clement seconded the motion. A roll-call vote was taken with a unanimous ‘yes’ vote indicated. Motion passed.

A brief discussion was held concerning the desire to have a post-audit conference. It was decided to decline the post-audit conference.

New Business

It was noted that a person will need to be found to remove snow for the village for the up-coming winter season.

Also, Mike Pohlman has stated that there are village tile issues in his field and would like them fixed before next spring.

At 6:31 Margie Clement moved for adjournment. Meeting adjourned. Next meeting will be
December 2, 2019 at 6:00 p.m.
